Lida Xing

’12 MSc

Lida’s research specializes in archosaur tracks, anatomy, and the relationship between. He also has interest in mid-Cretaceous amber deposits from Burma that preserve fossilized vertebrate remains and in the morphology, palaeoecology, and evolution of theropods (avian and non-avian). Lida completed a MSc with Specialization in Systematics and Evolution in 2012 at the University of Alberta studying the theropod Sinosaurus. He then went to China University of Geosciences in Beijing for doctoral research, afterwards becoming an associate professor at the same institution.
