Recently our lab personnel have won several awards!

At the 2022 Entomological Society meeting in Vancouver two of our fantastic PhD students were awarded for their outstanding presentations:

President’s Prize 1st place in the Behavior and Pollinators group was awarded to Antonia Musso’s talk: “Think of the children! Female host preference and offspring performance of mountain pine beetle in lodgepole and jack pines”

President’s Prize 1st place in the Biocontrol – Predators group was awarded to Maggie MacDonald’s talk: Friend, foe, or acquaintance? Interactions between Pterostichus melanarius (Ill.) (Coleoptera: Carabidae) and the pea leaf weevil L. (Sitona lineatus) in pulse agroecosystems
