Congratulations to PhD student Ian Gazely, and first year MSc students Michelle Hoang and Wyatt Villetard for successfully obtaining Hunting Heritage grants from the Northern Alberta Chapter of Safar Club International. Ian’s work focuses on studying the movement ecology and the risk of disease transmission of Bighorn sheep in Alberta. Michelle is studying the genetic diversity and distribution of wolves in coastal BC, and Wyatt is looking at studying the movement ecology and effects of harvesting on nesting Sandhills cranes.
