Background/Research Interests
While I am originally from Scotland, I completed my undergraduate degree in Canada, my PhD in New Zealand and have worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of British Columbia. Previously, I have studied the role of climate change (ocean acidification, temperature, and salinity) in modifying parasite behavior and host-parasite interactions. In my current position in the Luong Lab, I will explore the physiological, ecological, and evolutionary consequences of the non-consumptive effects (NCEs) of parasites.
