Post-Doctoral Fellow
My post-doctoral research aims to understand how abiotic stressors influence the physiology of a diverse group of fishes. I am especially interested in how oxygen, salinity and CO2 can affect ion and acid-base regulation, ammonia excretion, as well as gas-exchange. Another aspect of my research program is focused on the mechanisms by which nano-encapsulated pesticides exert toxic effects on marine invertebrates.
