Job Fair
-Not as many people as in previous years, 17 advertisers
Holiday Mixer/Ugly Christmas Party Sweater
-Went well, good attendance, over 100 people
-Just broke even on alcohol, may not have turned a profit on this event
-Worth doing again, good turnout, ran out of food
GSA Meeting
-Cancelled for this month
Upcoming Events:
Writing Workshop
-Later January or Early February
-Speaker from writing centre, department, prof
Candidacy Workshop
-Planning to begin in January
Trivia Nights
-Stall with Faculty Club
-Coming up with our own Trivia, cheaper option
-Other options: Whyte or Conference Room at U of A
Curling
-Space is booked, first weekend in April
-Bringing our own instructors
-Design theme in January
-Curling increased in price, may not make a profit (50/50 or fundraising event beforehand).
-Open up to other departments to make it bigger
-Break in the middle of the day
