BUDGET MEETING
- Snack room did not make as much money last year as it did the years before
- Other events ran as usual, cost wise
- Welcome bbq was a new event, which broke even
- Christmas Party made a little bit of money, had a lot of alcohol left over so ordered less this year (~$500)
- Halloween party will not be an event anymore, so scrapped from the budget
- RE Peter is at cost
- Budget approved
Other Business
- Department Chair Selection committee – Mark
- Next meeting second week of December
- Have submitted/send out survey to gauge graduate student opinion on specifics of committee. Send out again tomorrow to make sure more people fill it in
- Need more data so need another survey? Will have a draft in January,
- Consultation officially ends on November 23, but potentially ongoing
- Chair selection committee will conclude end of January
- Have another fundraiser, will discuss in January meeting so think of ideas
