BGSA Exec Meeting Minutes – 14:00 August 8, 2018

New Student Orientation
- August 30th
- Presentation to new students
- BBQ outside
- Drinks at the Faculty Club afterwards
- Andrew will send out a poll to see how many current students would come and ask for more volunteers, also send out emails to specific faculty
The BGSA website
- Work on making the website more workable
- Put more upcoming and past events on
- More information on resources, scholarships, forms, thesis template, volunteer opportunities, seminar notices, coffee news/weekly coffee meetings potential
Event organizer training
- Everyone needs to get by end October, will be good for two years

Lounge
- New lounge will be open soonish?
- Can use G404 for now, will use a digital lock (need to buy) that can store the physical key and everyone will have the code to that
Voting in a second treasurer
- Spencer Goyette, new incoming student will become the treasurer
