I am studying space use (movement and habitat selection) and behaviors of prey species in relation to predation pressure and resource availability, taking snowshoe hare-lynx system in Yukon as the study system. My interests are; 1) if prey species would show population-level changes in their space use and behavioral patterns in response to spatial and temporal variations in predation pressure and resource availability, and 2) if individual variations in space use and behavioral patterns of prey species would affect their survival and predation mortality.
