PDF Position in Modeling CWD spatial spread

Two-year PDF available for joining a collaborative team in developing a bioeconomic model for evaluating CWD management strategies.

Qualifications include a PHD with quantitative and modeling background with preference given to applicants with direct expertise in epidemiological modeling; strong oral communication skills and publishing experience; expertise in mathematical /statistical models, GIS skills, R or other programing skills.

PDF will collaborate in developing integrated population model for mule deer (IPM) incorporating hunter harvest responses to CWD prevalence. Other responsibilities include managing project data, developing and validating spatial epidemiological models, writing reports, organizing meetings and giving presentations, and producing publications.
