Shibai Zhang is a PhD student in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Victoria. She is co-supervised by Mark Lewis and Farouk Nathoo. She is deeply loves animals and is enthusiastic about applying mathematical and statistical methods to solve problems for animals and the environment.
Shibai graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a master’s degree in applied mathematics & statistics.
She plays the hammered dulcimer and enjoys delicious food.
