{"id":1275,"date":"2019-09-09T19:33:58","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T19:33:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grad.biology.ualberta.ca\/merrill\/?page_id=1275"},"modified":"2024-04-12T20:40:49","modified_gmt":"2024-04-12T20:40:49","slug":"kelsey-gritter","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/grad.biology.ualberta.ca\/merrill\/kelsey-gritter\/","title":{"rendered":"Kelsey Gritter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am currently a Master\u2019s student, in ecology\/mathematical biology, working with Dr. Evelyn Merrill and Dr. Mark Lewis.\u00a0 The project that I am working on is an individual-based model for the transmission of chronic wasting disease (CWD) that includes environmental factors.\u00a0 This model will be used to investigate artificial attractants and what the ideal management of these attractants is for limiting disease spread.<\/p>\n<p>I have a BSc degree from The King\u2019s University with a major in biology and a double minor in chemistry and mathematics.<\/p>\n<p>Congratulations to <strong>Kelsey Gritter<\/strong> for the successful completion of her MSc degree.
