\nExamines the major lineages of life on Earth. Overview of evolutionary
\nprinciples and classification, the history of life, and the key
\nadaptations of prokaryotes, protists, fungi, plants, and animals.
\nLaboratories survey the diversity of biological form and function, and
\nintroduce students to data collection and scientific writing.
\nPrerequisite: Biology 30. Note: BIOL 107 is not a prerequisite for BIOL
\n108. BIOL 107 and 108 can be taken in either term.<\/p>\n
