Specifically, my lab investigates how both natural (environmental physiology) and anthropomorphic-induced (toxicology) changes in the environment affect animal physiology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research philosophy and research goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My research philosophy is to encourage students to learn and perform research in areas that they find interesting. Graduate students and PDFs studying under my research direction are encouraged to seek collaborative opportunities, discuss and debate their interests and ideas, and take ownership of their research goals.
