BGSA meeting \u2013 April 11, 2017<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Past events: <\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Candidacy workshop \u2013 Went well. ~25 people which was ~ the number that signed up. For next year, include a BYOB mailer. Don\u2019t forget the department pays of the food for workshops we put on for them.<\/li>\n
  2. Curling \u2013 went well. Cost $750 to rent and $70 spent on prizes. We had $1000 in registration (10 teams) so made ~$180. That number of ice sheets was perfect (5) for 10 teams.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Upcoming:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Trivia \u2013 Moved to April 20 at RATT $2. Conflicted with the 3MT. Now it is after the celebration of excellence. Perhaps promote at the celebration to draw more numbers.<\/li>\n
    2. Spring fundraiser \u2013 BBQ. Emailed Casey. Dylan and Zach can help if needed.<\/li>\n
    3. Elections \u2013 Dylan has preparation under control. Food is planned. $100 budget. Waffles, syrup, sausages, muffins, fruit and coffee. Will need people to bring toasters and crock pots to keep food warm. BGSA exec to arrive ~20 min early to prepare.<\/li>\n
    4. Update the how-to documents if you ran an event this year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
